A first of its kind surgery center in this area, this project included ten surgery suites, twenty-five – twenty-three-hour beds, a PACU, sterilization facility, and physical therapy center.

Prefabrication was used extensively on this project and was key to its success. Starting with the below grade plumbing, all of the plumbing risers were Trimble which almost eliminated layout time and ensured that pipe risers were in the right spot.

All of the medical gas and water piping systems were assembled in the shop on racks and the hangers were Trimbled as well. When we were able to get into a space it was a matter of a couple days to have all of the piping in the air, connected, tested, and ready for insulation.
