Schedule & Communication
Renovation of this fourteen-story Corporate High-Rise required replacing all of the hydronic heating and cooling and plumbing systems while maintaining occupancy of the building’s staff. It also required replacement of the building’s cooling tower located on the roof in the middle of downtown. Scheduling and communication were the key to this project’s successful completion.

This design build project was a complete renovation of the building completed in 2018. It involved fourteen stories of renovation of the hydronic heating and cooling system as well as the plumbing infrastructure and plumbing fixtures. It also included a new, full-service commercial kitchen and dining room.
A unique feature to this project was a feature three-sided glass fireplace for the lobby. Originally it was a “what if we could do this idea” which turned into a reality through design and coordination with the local fire department.
The crowning jewel of this project was the replacement of the aging cooling tower on the roof with a new Stainless-steel water tower which involved a tremendous amount of coordination not only with the owner and their operations, but from the onset of delivery. From oversize-overweight delivery, traffic planning with the city, removal of streetlights and precise crane work, we made it happen all while keeping the facility in operation!
