Conceptual Budgeting
A very unique project to the city, this project was procured from budgets based on no more than a walk through. I was engaged very early in the project’s development to provide budgets for the mechanical and plumbing systems. This drove design through an IPD Contract.

A showcase project, this cultural center includes a museum, two-level banquet venue, full-service commercial kitchen, teaching classroom, speakeasy and a bed and breakfast. With such a diverse occupancy the HVAC system required careful planning and design, HVAC Controls were the name of the game!
Originally the building was used as an ad agency, heated and cooled by several split systems. The new design required complete demolition of the existing systems and replacement with a central heating and chilled system controlled by a very intricate sequence of operations.
Also noteworthy of the project were the high-end finishes which included very high-end plumbing fixtures.
The project started as a “napkin budget” and is on track to finish on time and underbudget!
